Someone I know made the comment, "Once you go to a chiropractor for adjustments, you will always need to continue going."

Great comment, I hear it occasionally as well. How long someone decides to benefit from chiropractic care is always up to them and they can stop at any time. Where the saying comes from is many people feel better while under care and they notice if they stop at some point in the future they do not feel as good as they did while under care. Once a person achieves maximum improvement (this takes time) periodic adjustments (approximately once a month) keep your nervous system functioning at peak performance. This concept is not unique to Chiropractic, the same goes for dental care, eye care, haircuts, lawn care, etc... - I could go on and on but I think you get it! Dr. B
